Well, after 3 hours in the airport, we are home again. Try again tomorrow!

20100129 - Friday Morning - Charlottetown Airport
We woke up to a fairly nice day. Ten minutes before leaving for the airport the the storm moved in with at least 5cm on the ground by the time we got suitcases into Scott's car. Terrible drive to the airport. Not great to be greated with "we'll see if it goes" at the counter. Flight postponed to 0940h, no, make that now 1010h.

Getting Ready
Instead of packing, I am sitting here setting up this blog (no Gail, it does not take very long). We are off for a holiday - originally to get away from the cold which has not yet come this year. Yesterday, 26 Jan, it was +8C and any snow we had is gone!
On Friday, we are off to see Artem, our grandson in Kanata, visit a few friends and then head off to Toronto on Tuesday, and on to Alvor, Algarve, Portugal. We spend a couple of weeks in Alvor, doing day trips from there. Then we tour around Portugal going to those places we did not get to see the last time we were there.
I do this blog primarily for ourselves, as a record of our trip. It is not always published each day for many reasons; not enough hours in a day and lack of access to WiFi or some other form of internet. I do try and make notes every day. Bom dia.
